When, during running foam latex, the mixer you were using dies, and you have to immediately switch to the other one.

We are trying to use up open product so it’s not wasted.

And our oven is on its last legs. But in the meanwhile, cranking out as many grinch faces (now down to one mold) and who noses, and other stuff as fast as I can.

Our closing party FAQ:

Saturday, 6/20, from 5pm to when the last people leave. Gen Xers tend to tire out by midnight.

All AEO friends, supporters, clients, etc., are welcome to attend. Though this is open to the public, this is a private event.

We will have the basics: water, cola, diet cola, some chips, and cheap beer. With that being said….

Think of this as a potluck.

If there is something you’d like to share: food, drink, adult beverages, we invite you to do so. Some ideas would be: crudite plate, fruit plate, charcuterie (aka cold cuts) plate, cookies, brownies, pizza, chips and dip. Stuff that won’t go bad and won’t need anything more than ice or possibly a microwave. We would normally provide all this, but we just got hit with some unexpected bills that Alan’s Medicaid won’t cover. However this is not a requirement for attendance.

Yes, we will also be selling too, so you’re welcome to buy what strikes your fancy at that time.

Update on hours:

Friday 5/29: 12-4pm
Saturday 5/30: 2-7pm (that way all of those heading home from can stop by!)

Also next Saturday 6/6, Alan will need some help with the storage unit to bring stuff in the shop. DM us if available.

Yes we sold a lot. But we still have more. Then there’s the decor and A/V stuff (give us a week or so to open that up).

Cannon Beach OR is a tourist trap, but rightfully so. It has beautiful views, regardless of the season. My dear friend Tom has some beautiful pics of me in my mid 20s when we were visiting here.

Sat 5/30 is TBA because my wonderful employer f*%ed up my schedule. A separate announcement will follow if we will open that day.

If you haven’t participated in our Facebook poll regarding the date of our closing party, we invite you to do so! Please let us know ASAP so we can start figuring out logistics. Saturday nights are better since the complex is mostly empty. And with the 27th coming up against the Traditional Pride Weekend (everywhere else but the South) AND the Fourth of July, we just want to include as many people as possible.

Polls close on 5pm 5/25 (Memorial Day).
