I will have to stop saying the system is broken...the system is RIGGED against us, and it's breaking all of us.

Encephalitis - swelling of the brain - is exactly as awful as you'd expect it to be. And the measles vaccine prevents it. I have cared for children with encephalitis, and I would do anything to protect my children from this. My experience was due to other causes - we didn't see measles for many years since as a community we decided to protect ourselves and each other with vaccination. Now that has changed and unfortunately children are paying the price.

Flu is still out in full force, and it's still not too late to get a flu vaccine. The vaccine helps to prevent it a little, but it really helps to prevent serious complications.
And no this is not for kickbacks- I get ZERO financial compensation for giving vaccines. And if it was about compensation...trying to prevent illness doesn't serve us well, since we'd stand to financially benefit from more sick kids, which we don't want. Pediatricians actually hate seeing kids sick or hurt.
