When you find your person you connect with them in a way you can’t with your family and friends. They are there when you’re sad and crying, when you get hurt they protect you, and you go around walking through life thinking you have all the time in the world to make up over those petty arguments and fights. You make plans on how you’ll spend your future together, for kids, and what kind of house and cars you want. For once in my life when it came to you I wasn’t afraid to try, I never gave up on you, only wanted the best for you and for you to see the amazing heart you had and the great man you were destined to be. As I write this with tears in my eyes we didn’t get to finish this lifetime together however you’ll always have my heart the way I had yours. I promise that in your death I’ll continue to have your back as I always have and love you until I take my final breath. I don’t know how I’ll do this without you but knowing you’re at peace brings some peace in my heart but I can’t say goodbye to you because it’s always been love you later.
