Parents stay trying to read the teacher….whole time your child cannot read. For 2026 let’s focus on literacy and accountability of all parties which does include teachers as well however, it starts at home.

I love Dr Umar however I totally disagree…..WE HAVE STOP BEING SO EMOTIONALLY CHARGED about everything.

The reality a lot of black families in urban areas do not plan….nor prioritize primary & secondary education as the pathway to success. They falsely believe they have time….time to think about it later…turn up…have fun first etc etc.

UNLIKE our suburban counterparts they plan their children’s post secondary endeavors out in primary school. Just a thought.
