a side of my craft that I don’t showcase as much as I should…

when I was in beauty school, the THOUGHT of a men’s haircut would send me running to the back…not to mention the thought of a “fade” 🥴 I swore I would never do men’s hair, ever. Well, between my dad and my brother, that thought lasted all of two seconds 🙃🤣 After I passed my cosmetology boards, I decided to go to barber college and I’m so blessed to have had that opportunity! Being a licensed barber is one of my favorite parts of what I do!

This is probably my favorite entry this year! Not only because it’s a little different than most of my entires, but my model is my handsome brother, we’ve come along way from forced two hour haircuts in beauty school! 🤟🏽💈

so, I asked my 9 year-old sister what I should caption this picture & she said “HASHTAG SLAYHAIR” answered with a little dance move & everything… sooooo

I saw a post yesterday by that said “it is so much more than just hair to me” and I couldn’t help but to think back to that when I captured this picture of my beautiful client! It is so much more than just hair. It is the laughs, the cries, the good times, the bad times, the triumphs, the defeats and everything in between. I am fortunate enough to share in every moment, big & small with each of you who sits in my chair.
