THE CUT ——

🤍Cutting hair is also a key part of making extensions not only look more natural but move like real hair. The worst is to feel like you have a wig on your head. In the past I was always a little scared to cut into extension hair because the client just paid for all this new hair, and because if you cut to much out it doesn’t blend. When placing extensions for each client you have to visualize how much hair you need to cut out or texture in order to know how much hair to put in. This is where it’s so important who you choose to instal your extensions, it takes a creative eye to see it before it’s even installed.

🤍It seems stylists are always trying to promote the “type “ of extensions they offer- I have learned the truth is... it’s all about the color and cut- it’s easy to lean how to install extensions, the hardest part is to get it to blend like perfection 👌🏻 with their own hair-

🤍 I decided to share these two pictures to show the difference. It is scary while the instal is taking place, because the client can’t visualiZe what the end result will be at this point (1st photo) but I knew where the colors and the length needed to be added to create the perfect seamless blend-

🤍 I also love ordering multiple diff colors as well as length. There is no point to pay extra money for long hair that will be placed to create face framing layers. It saves my clients money and helps the blend process be a little easier -
