“But my labs came back normal…”
Great, but why are you still feeling this way?
You’re exhausted. Foggy. Inflamed. Bloated. Wired, tired, uncomfortable, or just not yourself.
And maybe you’ve already been to two or three other practices. Maybe you were told everything looked fine. Maybe you were handed a quick answer, a rushed appointment, or nothing at all.
That’s not good enough.
At in2GREAT, we don’t treat people like a box to check. We take the time to listen, connect the dots, and look deeper because symptoms are not always simple, and healing rarely fits into a neat little category.
Normal does not always mean optimal.
Now, it’s time for someone to actually pay attention.

Summer means more time outside.
It also means ticks.
And ticks are not just annoying. They can carry Lyme disease and other infections that may go unnoticed at first.
Practical prevention matters:
Wear light colored clothing so ticks are easier to spot.
Use a tick spray when you’re in tall grass, wooded areas, or brush. If you prefer a lower tox option, look for essential oil based sprays with ingredients like cedarwood, lemongrass, peppermint, or geraniol, and reapply as directed.
Do a full tick check after being outside, especially behind knees, around the waist, hairline, ears, and underarms.
Shower soon after outdoor time.
Tumble clothes on high heat to kill ticks that may be hiding.
If you find a tick, remove it with fine tipped tweezers as close to the skin as possible. Pull straight out. Do not twist, burn, or cover it with oils.
Then pay attention. A rash, fever, fatigue, joint pain, headaches, or flu like symptoms after a tick bite are worth taking seriously.
Lyme can be a silent threat, but prevention and early action can make a big difference.

Today, we remember those who gave everything.
As we gather with family and friends, may we do so with gratitude for the freedoms their sacrifice made possible.
Grill something simple. Be together. Appreciate it.
Grass-Fed Garlic Herb Steak
Salt, pepper, garlic, fresh rosemary, grass-fed butter
Season steak and let sit 30 minutes. Grill 4 to 5 minutes per side, then let rest.
Pan Sauce
After the steak rests, deglaze the pan with a splash of water. Add a generous pad of grass-fed butter, swirl, and pour over the steak.
Optional: add 2 tbsp heavy cream after deglazing, bubble for 60 seconds, then add butter.
For an animal-based twist, add a splash of quality balsamic and 1/2 tsp raw honey off the heat before adding cream and butter.
We remember them today.

At in2GREAT, functional medicine is personal.
We take time to listen, test deeper, and look at the patterns behind your symptoms so your care is built around you, not a generic checklist.
Because “normal” is not always the same as optimal.
Your body is giving us information. Our job is to understand what it is saying.

The Truth About Peptides
Peptides are getting a lot of attention right now, but they are not magic and they are not all the same.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act like messengers in the body. Depending on the peptide, they may support things like recovery, metabolism, immune function, sleep, skin health, inflammation, or healthy aging.
But here’s the part that matters:
The right peptide depends on the person.
The dose matters.
The source matters.
The reason you’re taking it matters.
And quality is non negotiable.
Peptide therapy should not be treated like a wellness trend or something you randomly add because you saw it online.
At in2GREAT, peptide therapy is approached with intention. We look at your symptoms, history, goals, labs, and overall health picture before making recommendations.
When you understand what you’re taking and why, peptides become more than hype.

There’s a quiet strength in the way mothers show up every day.
In the details no one else notices
in the consistency no one applauds
in the way they hold everything together without needing recognition
Some roles speak for themselves
