📖As I turn the page to Chapter 44 of my life, I reflect back when my birthday was considered just another day. Growing up not having birthday celebrations , or not hearing Happy Birthday had became normal. When I turned 18, a friend and her mother gave me my first balloon & birthday cake.
Years after, I went back to not celebrating myself. When I had my kids I celebrated them and everyone else, but not truly understanding the meaning of birthdays. 10 years ago today, my husband helped change my perspective on how to look at my birthday and birthdays in general.
At 33, he gave me my first, and definitely not my last birthday celebration. He helped me understand that birthdays( including mines)is a celebration of LIFE, another year that God has given us to make it right with Him, and a chance to “TRY AGAIN”. It’s not just another day, but a day out of the year, out of our busy lives that we can reflect on GROWTH(spiritually), OVERCOMING life’s challenges, and building ENDURANCE as we live this life.
Now that’s worth celebrating!!🥳🎊

Continue to give him the confidence he needs in who you are molding and shaping him into. Give him the mental capacity and endurance to achieve the tasks ahead.
