Sometimes small business life throws you curveballs… and this was definitely not a home run like I thought. 😕

We had reserved June 26th for a large event, purchased supplies, and blocked our schedule and even turned down bookings to accommodate it. We were so excited about this opportunity and have spent the last month preparing! Unfortunately, things didn’t work out as planned, leaving us with an unexpected open schedule, a whole lot of extra stuff and a little bit of a broken heart…

💗However…When Plan A falls through, I do what I do best as a SMALL BUSINESS OWNER— I hold my chin up high, throw a dash glitter and mix it in with some determination to turn this day around!! So PLAN B … it’s now a K-Pop Demon Hunter Glitterpalooza!!!

Here’s an amazing photo dump from the past few weeks at Glitter Glam! ✨

I proved to myself during my “March Madness” posting challenge that when I post every day, bookings increase dramatically! Unfortunately, May marks the beginning of my busy season with my full-time business, Fresh as a Daisy Cleaning Co., so my social media posts haven’t been as frequent as they should be. 🤦🏻‍♀️ As a result, bookings have slowed down a bit too!

Since I have a few free minutes this morning, I wanted to share what we’ve been up to and give you a sneak peek at what’s coming next! 🙌

We’re hoping to set up a booth at the farmers market on Saturdays when we don’t have party bookings. We’re also exploring the idea of going mobile with festival glitter, glitter tattoos, and hair tinsel for private events!

We completely sold out of slime and even had to whip up more on the spot!!

None of us were expecting this!! It’s funny how it works—we plan events thinking they’ll be a hit and no one shows… then the ones we walk into with zero expectations end up PACKED!! 🤣🫣🤷🏻‍♀️

I am beyond thankful for each and every one of you who came out and supported us! 💕
I do apologize if things felt a little crazy at times—they were doing their best to keep up—but I truly hope everyone had an amazing time!!

They were making slime nonstop and doing everything they could to keep things running smoothly—I’m so proud of them!!

But Jojo and I were busy setting up for our very first pop-up vendor booth at Byron High School today!! 🎉✨
