A gift certificate for nail services was purchased.
The expiration date was December 31.

Yesterday, not the certificate holder herself, but her mother called to book an appointment.
The visit was declined because the certificate had expired.

In response, we were told:
👉 “You lost a lot of clients. This is not clear.”

Later that evening, the person who originally purchased the certificate confirmed this position and requested a refund for this and another certificate, stating:
👉 “The client is always right.”

So here is an honest question:

If your insurance policy expires,
can you simply insist that you are right and demand service anyway?
