Have you ever had a hairstyle tell you no? You want to make a big change and you bring in photos you thought about for a while, you make an appointment you walk in and tell your stylist your ideas and then they tell you “no”. It can be a hard pill to swallow but I’m here to tell you that they are saying no for a good reason.

As a hair stylist, my top priority is to keep the integrity of your hair and I have said “no” sometimes when I think the hair can’t handle a big color change. Does that mean I don’t want to do your hair? absolutely not. Does that mean I want you to have beautiful healthy hair left? Absolutely!

One thing I do say is “no, not right now but….” Which usually follows with a hair plan to get your hair healthy with time, trims and treatments or some kind of plan to get you there one day slowly.

Hi beautiful humans, just wanted to give you guys and update on what’s going with the salon, we are closed today and tomorrow and back on Tuesday the 24. We are doing all that we can to follow state guidelines, with that being said we will only be allowed to have 3 stylist working at all times so we can spread everyone out away from each other. I ask please, please, please plan ahead if possible and book your appointment so that all of our stylists may continue to work to accommodate all guest who feel safe enough to come get their hair done to escape from everything going on in the world right now. I know some of us are scared including me, if you don’t feel safe to get your hair done its okay to reschedule or cancel until you feel comfortable coming back in. I know, you know this already but if you feel under the wheather call us cancel your appointment and stay home and take care of yourself, we are waiving the 48 hr cancellation policy at the moment.

Let me tell you what we are doing at the salon, when you come in we are giving everyone hand Sanitizer, also before your hand massage (if you choose to get one). We are cleaning all day wiping down the front desk, station chairs and tools with the proper solutions to help disinfect. We already do this but now it’s x10 lol after all we don’t a license of how good we cut and color hair it’s all about how we protect the client, and being santitary the entire service! We also have an air scrubber removing 99.9% of dangerous airborne contaminants.
