We were not getting to her inspo photo that day but it's something we are going to work our way to.

Our first session was a cute chop, removing the left over red on her ends, adding some baby lights and face framing highlights.

I will never compromise the hair and sometimes that means multiple sessions before getting to your end goal.

We did a root cover and color melt to give that seamless, dimensional look while still keeping some of her lighter pieces 🤎

This was my first time to pin the hair as I blow dried it and we both loved the result 🤩

When you're going 2,3,4 days without washing your hair, your scalp is accumulating oil and dirt.

If you don't have scalp issues, that's great! But if you do suffer from itching, irritation or you feel like your hair is thinning it's so important to keep a healthy environment on your head 🫧

These photos are second day hair and you can see the sebum buildup in the pores and along the hairstrands after just one day of skipping shampooing. Imagine what that will look like if this person goes a few extra days.

And dry shampoo is not shampoo 😜 it does help with oil but it doesn't mean your scalp is clean.
