Aquarius Season ♒️

It’s our time to shine (or honestly, just do whatever the hell we want). Aquarius season is all about being unapologetically yourself, thinking big, and not following the crowd. We don’t do basic, we don’t do boring, and we definitely don’t do fake.

So if you’ve been feeling the urge to switch things up, trust it. This season is all about breaking the rules—in the best way possible.

What helped me through the grief was being in the salon, connecting with my clients, and pouring my energy into creating. Some might call it escape, but for me, it was grounding—a way to feel present and find purpose.

I’ve also found so much healing through EMDR therapy, which helped me process the pain and make space for peace.

I haven’t shared much about him or how he passed because I never wanted it to define me. But today, I choose to remember and honor him 🤍

Memory: While we were building the first salon on York, one of my dad’s favorite songs, No Diggity by Blacksteet, would play at the most random times. That’s when I knew he was visiting, reminding me he’s still here with me. ❤️

✨ Cutting off the weight feels so good—especially after the beginning of the new year we’ve just had.

From long locks to a light, textured bob that’s effortless and chic. Sometimes, less really is more.

Happy 8th Birthday to my son River, 1/2 the namesake of River + Reign Salon! 🎉

Time is flying, and I can’t believe my little guy is 8 already. 💗 We celebrated with park fun, Pokémon battles, revolving sushi, and all the things that bring him joy—and honestly, it’s been a reminder of what life is all about: love, community, and creating meaningful moments.

River, you inspire me every day—not just as your mom but as the heart behind the salon. Your kindness, curiosity, and boundless energy remind me to bring that same passion and care into everything I do here.

To our incredible community: thank you for the love and support, not just for me, but for the dreams this salon represents. Here’s to River and all the inspiration he’s brought into our lives. 💫

WHO’s READY FOR CHRISTMAS?!
Well I’m totally gearing up for a crazy week in the salon this week then a much needed week long break to be with loved ones.

I’ll be out of the salon from Dec 23 - Dec 28.
