Vivids are the most ephemeral color choice one could make. So choose wisely. ⠀

If you’re beauty budget is wide open spaces and Julie Andrews is in there singing among green hills o’ cash then by all means get thee to my chair . 😉⠀

But to be serious vivids fade FAST. It’s important to remember that inspo pics are just that and we can achieve a version of your goal but it won’t be exact. ⠀

Since vivids fade in the blink of an eye I always suggest going darker than your goal. ⠀
⠀
If what you want involves pastels or crazy cool placement of different colors then pricing is similar to doing a full balayage due to the amount of time involved. ⠀

Vivids are so much fun and can end up being an investment that requires careful maintenance to keep up . ⠀
I.e 🥶 cold showers will be your BFFL and you’ll need to learn to cleansing conditioner because shampoo is a NO NO

Blue shampoo may feel like a blessing but don’t neglect your glazes. Blue and silver shampoos are great for a quick tone in between appointments but toners can do so much more. Not to mention they seal the cuticle , last longer, and add shine.
For perfect color maintenance, especially for highlighted brunette babes , I recommend a glaze every 8 weeks. .
If your hair is feeling especially fragile you can pair your glaze with an olaplex/ F18 treatment.
