Your body remembers everything your mind has tried to move on from.

The stress you ‘handled.’ The grief you pushed through. The years of giving without refueling. The thing that happened that you’ve never quite talked about.

None of it disappears. It gets stored. In the tissue. In the fascia. In the tension patterns your body has quietly organized itself around to protect you.

This is not a metaphor. The research on somatic memory, polyvagal theory, and trauma-informed bodywork is clear: the body holds what the mind cannot fully process. And the body can release what the mind alone cannot reach.

That’s why people sometimes cry on the table. Why a particular stretch unlocks something unexpected. Why a sound bath reaches a place that years of talk therapy didn’t.

The body has its own intelligence. And it’s been waiting for permission to use it.

When you’re ready — we’re here.

This week at Lovelock, we’re bringing a little extra summer energy to the schedule.

Saturday at 8 AM, Marina Cox is leading Yoga Sculpt: Ibiza House Music — a special themed class with movement, sweat, music, and weekend energy in Studio C.

If you’ve been wanting something strong, upbeat, and a little more playful, this is the class to book.

And all month long, we’re celebrating the community that has helped Lovelock grow.

Through July 31, we’re hosting a Lovelock Referral Challenge.

The client who refers the most people by the end of July will receive:

A FREE month of our Signature Unlimited Membership
Includes one 90-minute massage, unlimited classes, and 20% off additional services, classes, workshops, retail, and more.

PLUS a Lovelock gift basket filled with some of our favorite things.

There’s something we’ve noticed over the last few years…

So many people keep telling themselves they’ll book a massage “when life slows down.”

But life rarely slows down on its own.

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to finally take care of yourself, this is it.

Our Intro Massage Special has helped hundreds of people walk through our doors for the very first time, and for a limited time we’ve opened it up to everyone—new clients, returning clients, and even current members.

But this opportunity ends after July 4, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.

With all three of our therapists available this Sunday, July 5, it’s the perfect time to finally get that appointment on the calendar.

If childcare is what’s been holding you back, reach out. We offer morning childcare six days a week and we’re happy to help you find an appointment that works for your family.

✨ Comment RELAX below and we’ll send you the link with all the details.

We can’t wait to welcome you.

If you’ve never booked a massage or healing session before, the unknown can feel like the hardest part.

So here’s exactly what your first visit to Lovelock Healing Arts looks like.

You arrive a few minutes early, take a deep breath, and settle in with a complimentary cup of hot tea. There’s no rush—just a chance to slow down before your session begins.

Before any hands-on work starts, your therapist sits down with you for a genuine conversation. We want to understand what’s been happening in your body, where you’re feeling tension or discomfort, what your goals are, and how you want to feel when you leave. That conversation guides every decision we make during your session.

From there, your therapist creates an experience that’s completely personalized. Rather than following the same routine for every client, we respond to what your body is telling us in real time. Pressure, techniques, pacing, and focus areas are all adjusted to meet your needs that day.

Whether you’re seeking pain relief, stress reduction, improved mobility, nervous system support, or simply a chance to reconnect with yourself, your session is designed around you—not around a preset sequence.

When your session ends, you’ll have time to slowly come back to the room, enjoy some water, and head back into your day feeling lighter, calmer, and more connected to your body.

🚨 Last chance to lock in our long-standing New Client Massage Special.

For well over a year, our introductory massage offer has been the perfect way for first-time clients to experience Lovelock Healing Arts. On July 5, that introductory pricing is changing.

To celebrate, we’ve made one exception…

We’ve opened this offer to absolutely everyone.

Whether you’ve purchased this special before, you’re a current massage member, a class member, or you’ve been part of our community for years—you can take advantage of this pricing too.

There is no limit to how many you can purchase before the deadline.

✔️ Stock up on future sessions.
✔️ Purchase for yourself.
✔️ Gift them to family and friends.
✔️ Buy now and schedule later.

Important: Your massage credit must be applied to a future appointment within 30 days of purchase. Your massage can take place after those 30 days, as long as the appointment is booked within the initial 30-day window.

Our clinic will be closed on July 4, but we’ll be back Saturday, July 5 with three massage therapists staffed and ready to help you feel your best. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect day to get back on the table—or to finally book your first massage—July 5 is a great opportunity to do it.

Once July 5 arrives, this introductory offer and pricing will be retired.

Book through the link in our bio or on the Momence app before the deadline.

✨ THIS WEEK AT LOVELOCK ✨

A new week means another opportunity to move your body, calm your mind, and reconnect with yourself. Our weekly schedule is running as usual, with two special highlights we can’t wait to share.

🌿 Monday | 7:00 PM – UNWIND with Dan Lovelock

Kick off your week by giving your body the attention it deserves. Dan’s signature UNWIND class blends self-myofascial release, mobility work, stretching, and recovery techniques that you can continue using at home, at the office, or between massage sessions. It’s one of our favorite classes for reducing tension, improving mobility, and learning practical self-care that lasts long after you leave the studio.

💛 Instructor Spotlight: Nicole Henshaw

If you’ve taken one of Nicole’s classes, you already know why she has such a loyal following.

Originally from Northern Virginia, Nicole is a certified Yoga Sculpt instructor and lifelong athlete whose love of movement naturally evolved into marathon running. She brings that same discipline, energy, and positivity into every class she teaches. Her music-driven workouts blend strength, mindfulness, and breath to create an experience that leaves you feeling challenged, empowered, and energized.

Beyond the studio, Nicole is the kind of teammate who is always the first to lend a hand, support community events, encourage others, and brighten every room she walks into. We are incredibly grateful to have her as part of the Lovelock family.

And if you need one more reason to follow Nicole, she’s also a proud new dog mom to the adorable Hank. If his puppy adventures don’t brighten your day, we don’t know what will. 🐶

🏃 Join Nicole this week:
• Thursday | 7:00 AM – Yoga Sculpt
• Saturday | 8:00 AM – Special 250th USA Anniversary World Cup-Themed Yoga Sculpt 🇺🇸⚽

Throw on your red, white, and blue, bring your competitive spirit, and celebrate movement, community, and a whole lot of fun with us!

There’s a layer of your body that holds everything together and holds everything in.

Your fascia is a continuous, three-dimensional web of connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, bone, organ, blood vessel, and nerve in your body. It’s what gives your body its shape and transmits force across its structures. And it’s where a significant amount of chronic pain, restriction, and postural dysfunction originates.

When fascial tissue becomes restricted from repetitive stress, old injuries, surgery, inflammation, or the physical storage of emotional tension it can exert up to 2,000 pounds of pressure per square inch on the structures it surrounds. That’s why fascial restrictions often create pain that seems disproportionate to what’s visible on an MRI or X-ray.

Fascial release at Lovelock Healing Arts in Pensacola works by applying sustained, gentle pressure to areas of restriction following the body’s own tissue as it softens, reorganizes, and releases. It’s slow work. It’s quiet work. And it often reaches places nothing else has been able to touch.

People describe it as: “I didn’t know that was there until it was gone.”
