I wanted to shine some light on a topic that many people can relate to… breakouts and texture!

No one likes it but we all have it! I will be the first to tell you that texture and breakouts are 100% normal. Skincare is not linear. You have your ups and downs and so does your esthetician. Finding the right products and routine for you takes time and that’s okay! I had been struggling for over a year with intense scarring and texture (which again is normal!!!) but I would get very down on myself for being a licensed professional and not knowing what the cause was. Being open with my clients about the fact that I was trying to figure out my own skin wasn’t the easiest but it helped me push through it mentally. If you told 16 year old me that my skin would finally be clear I would’ve thought you were crazy. Clear skin will come and go but your confidence should stay! No one is perfect and even professionals struggle in their own ways.

Your breakouts are normal and yes you are still beautiful 🩷
