As the weather is getting warmer I feel it is my obligation as your Friendly Neighborhood Esthetician to remind all you lovelies a few things about protecting yourself from the lovely, warm yet extremely damaging effects of the sun:

💛First, please be sure to check your sunscreens EXPIRATION DATE. Most SPF in sunscreen last about 2-3 years. Below you can see some picture as to were to find different expiration dates on bottles.

💛Next, SPF, whether specifically in sunscreen, or in your moisturizer or makeup foundation, should be worn EVERY SINGLE day. Even on cloudy days when it doesn't seem like the sun in shining, I promise it still is. Be sure to protect that skin!

💛And lastly, there is so many things most people do not know about SPF. How it works, the different kinds of SPF, which is best for you? What level of SPF does one need? What do levels even mean? This article is great for answering all these questions.
Educating yourself is the number one key to protect yourself!

Man, how about the last few months, right?

I, obviously, took a break from most of my social media. But, now that some things are kinda back in the swing of things, I wanted to take a minute and re-introduce myself for anyone who doesn’t really know me.

I’m Jami, a Licensed Esthetician and Professional Makeup Artist. Makeup artistry is my true passion. I have now been licensed for 5 year and have loved every single moment. Not only do I love pretty much everything about Makeup, I also have a love for skin care and helping people achieve the healthiest skin possible.
