I’ve always been enough in my own eyes. I know what I bring to the table. Watching the ones you meet and build with slowly reveal their lack of depth and loyalty is the real problem I struggle with. No matter what happens, I know that I will be okay—I always am.

The process is simple:

Be honest, even if it makes you look bad. Dishonesty makes you look worse.

Accountability - like honesty, if you are never the problem, more than likely you ARE the problem.

Grace - forgive yourself. It is a lot easier to practice the first two if you can do this.

Lastly, and most importantly, protect your energy and peace. Allowing someone else to manipulate your self-worth is equivalent to poisoning your own blood.

Suspect evil in no one until you see it. Once you see it, forget it not. Because once an enemy, they will never be a friend…
