We recently had a heat-friendly synthetic wig come in that had been a daily favorite for about 10 months. Between the daily wear and the friction that comes with longer styles, the fibers were looking pretty tired. Its owner was worried it was "done for" and had trouble smoothing it out at home.

The truth? Most people hesitate to maintain their wigs because they’re afraid of causing damage.
