I started In the beauty industry when I was around 15. I assist in my mom‘s friend in her beauty salon so I can get community service hours for that school year. Yes my high school required us to do community service. ⠀

That weekend I remember falling in love with doing hair. I seen so many women get up and walk out of that salon feeling like they were the next best thing. I love the process of watching them being transformed into a confident woman. ⠀

Before I knew it I wanted to be in the beauty industry so I was fortunate enough to be able to go to cosmetology school while still in high school. (Thank you ROP) ⠀

I went to cosmetology school passed my cosmetology test and became a licensed cosmetologist in 2001. I’ve worked with some of the best people in the industry as an assistant and then I started growing my own clientele. ⠀

However I found my passion on set. Being able to create an image from someone’s mind into reality is the ultimate high. I literally can take a character from a paper and build that character to reality. That’s the fun part. ⠀

I have been working on set consistently since 2008. A week after I graduated from make up school I landed my first make up job doing a indie movie. And I never look back. ⠀

Although I do all kinds of beauty industry work like making my own products, hair and make up, owning a salon and a beauty supply store. I have now found another passion in teaching people what I have learned over my 20+ years of being in the beauty industry. ⠀

It is a new and great way for me to express my love by teaching others what I have learned the good and the bad. And I’m not done yet. 😜😜😜

Im not who I use to be. I woke up today and I didn’t recognize myself.

I’m constantly evolving and changing. One thing is for sure. The one thing that will never change is I AM TIANA LOWE an entrepreneur and teacher of all things beauty.

Happy Thanksgiving y’all. Today I am great full for where I have come from. I went from being broke and living in poverty to a life of wealth, peace, joy and happiness. I hustled and worked my way to where I am today. I made up in my mind that I wanted something different and I went after it. With Gods help I have been able to achieve all the goals that I set for myself. I can’t wait to help the next group of Beauty enthusiasts become successful in the beauty industry.
