Hello neighbors and loyal customers of the best traditional old school barber shop in Philly! You may have heard that Ray took a bit of a spill and will be out for a little while.
What you may not have heard is that his extremely talented son (also named Ray ❤️) has stepped in to fill those big shoes, and is great!

Sorry to tell Ray Sr. that his son is much faster 😂.

What can I say about this guy that hasn’t been said? Stopped in and no one was in there, which is rare. He offers me a cup of coffee, and we proceed to talk about old school boxing for the next half hour, sipping our coffees. Sometimes you just need to chat with someone.
And then, of course I get the absolute perfect haircut that I was looking for. Ray, please stay in business for at least another 10 years — you are needed, and loved ❤️

And . . . he’s back! Ray is here for all of your haircut needs Thursday through Saturday again, after a brief hiatus.
I can tell you from the cut I got today that he is better than ever! Cleaned up the do a hairstylist gave me two weeks ago that made me look like Mr. Mackey from South Park 😳.
All better now!
