If you’re new here, I started going through postpartum depression 13 months ago. I am still recovering! But this post is about my hair…

Picture 1️⃣ - TODAY, I finally pressed my hair out after 8 months of me chopping it off after a breakdown.

Picture 2️⃣ - Top pic is the day I chopped it off and bottom pic is two months ago before a braid down.

Picture 3️⃣ - I have been wearing my hair under my wigs and piling it with my Hair Oil from called Scalp Therapy

Picture 4️⃣ - In the process of me straightening my hair today. I couldn’t even get a ponytail.

Consistency of protecting and moisturizing my hair plus I was Not really paying too much attention to how long it was taking got me here. Now I can really work to get my healthy hair back.

Getting a silk press before the braids is not a protective style….. let me not forget the fact that there’s no moisture going on while the braids are in🤦🏽‍♀️

But I’ll hear it’s too hot for a wig, my hair can’t breathe… your hair not breathing regardless sis! 🥴
