I mentioned this in my stories the other day but thought this update deserved a space on the feed too !

Here are 3 reasons why your current scalp oil may not be working for you :

1: it’s not formulated for your specific hair and scalp goals.
For example: it may just be a simple rosemary oil without anything else to help stimulate hair growth. Without omega 3s and the proper carrier oils it may be doing you a disservice.

2: is it formulated for your specific skin type ?
Let’s say you have psoriasis or a dry scalp , but you’re using tea tree oil. That could make matters worse by drying your scalp out even more. This is when it’s essential to consult with a scalp care professional vs just buying something online

3: is this something you can stay consistent with ? Like any supplement , it will take consistent repetition to see results. I typically recommend to do it 1-3 times a week for 2nd than before you may see any small result.

BONUS tip :
Make sure you’re applying your scalp oil to your scalp at minimum 15 mins prior to washing your hair out. I usually recommend applying it as a calming self care routine the night before you’re going to wash your hair.

You also want to make sure you’re doing massage and scalp stimulation to ensure better results !

About 2 weeks ago I randomly woke up with little to no voice & it just has not improved. So I think what I need to do at least until I get my voice back is to offer silent appointments at the salon 🫠

That being said I will still absolutely consult with you about your hair when you come in. But beyond that you probably won’t hear much from me.
