It's official - after 60+ years on Sansom Street, the GOAT is retiring!

"After over 60 wonderful years, I am stepping away from Richard Nicholas.

It’s been an incredible journey, from starting my apprenticeship at sixteen on Sansom Street in 1965, to opening my salon and serving so many loyal clients. I am deeply grateful for the interesting conversations, fun, and special relationships we’ve built over a lifetime.

Your support has been the cornerstone of my happiness and success. Countless clients have become friends, who have educated me by recommending books, and connecting me with professionals who facilitated my growth and career.

Throughout the years, many employees have worked at Richard Nicholas, and have made countless contributions that have left me feeling forever grateful. I’m proud of the talented individuals who have walked through our doors and found their own paths to happiness and success.

It truly takes a village to be successful. My clients, the hard work of my staff (with Helen at the front desk helm), and my dedicated sons and wife - all - have been the heart of the village we’ve created on Sansom Street.
