how do you know it’s time for a haircut?

If you have a hard time determining when to schedule your haircuts here’s 3 ways to tell it’s time ✨

1. Tangles! Hair tends to tangle easily when it’s dry or damaged. If your hair is beginning to tangle more than usual, get those dead ends trimmed and you should feel as good as new.

2. Dull or lifeless. If you feel like there isn’t much style anymore to your hair or it’s lacking that movement after a fresh haircut, it might be time for a trim to give your hair back some shape and bounce.

3. Won’t hold a style. Are you spending all that time blow drying or curling your hair and it just won’t stay right? It could be telling you that it’s time for that haircut! Getting some layers could give you the perfect style at home.

I hope everyone had a great day with their families! Before the night ended I wanted to hop on here and say happy thanksgiving to everyone. I am forever grateful for all of my clients and the support I receive behind my chair.

And yesterday definitely had me believing that a little more! It’s a slow week and I was feeling super bummed about the huge gap in my schedule but then I had a new client book the morning of! ✨

Within the first few minutes of interacting with her I thought to myself, “ohhh I’m gonna like this girl” 💁🏼‍♀️ turns out the stylist she originally had an appointment with cancelled last minute and she came across my opening.

We clicked soooo well, it was a great time doing this process today, I definitely got a little boost I needed recently, and I mean….

it’s been a while…. life’s been hectic lately. I just want to jump on here and first thank all of my clients who are keeping me busy behind my chair and choosing to spend your hard earned money at our salon. 🫶🏻

also, I wanted to quickly address that my policies & pricing have been updated in my highlights so you can always see them.

I have been so forgiving & lenient with all of my policies but with the amount of no shows or last minute cancellations, I need to begin implementing them more strictly. This isn’t because of anyone directly, but I’ve had weeks where multiple people have had something come up and that leaves me in a really rough spot financially. I completely understand that life happens, but please try to give me a heads up in the requested time so I can try to fill that spot.

what happens during a consult?
- during your consult we will go over your goals and expectations for your hair. I will show you the different methods I offer and we will decide which would be best for you & your lifestyle. Then I will go over the pricing details for your hair and goals. I’ll tell you all about your maintenance plan and how to care for your extensions. Lastly we’ll take a look at the color options to find your perfect match.

why do you need one?
- it’s much easier to spend some time talking things over with a stylist than it is having them send you a bunch of info via text or dm. having them see your hair in person will allow for the perfect color match & they can also show you hair samples and go over the different methods to find the best fit for you.

how much does the consult cost & why?
An extension consultation with me is $25. I used to offer complimentary consults but due to the amount of no shows and time wasted, I made the decision to have a small charge for the time spent in my chair. If you are hesitant or on the fence, you can dm me for a ROUGH estimate. if you decide to get extensions, I do require an in person consultation in order to provide you with the best experience and results.
