It’s been a year and never in a million years would I have imagined I’d ever be where I am right now. I’ve been a licensed esthetician since 2014. Two years ago Covid shut us down and I lost the room I was renting from. I had just had our last baby and I took some time to rethink of what I wanted to be doing. I continued lashing a bit and took a permanent makeup class for brows as well as a tiny tattoo course. I randomly came across Tiffany’s TikTok for her hiring ad for an esthetician at a new place she was opening. I quickly responded and got hired on the spot. I joined her at her tattoo studio as an esthetician and then moved into tattooing and worked with her for two months before sadly her shop getting closed due to some technicality of distance between the shop and residential homes. What I thought was yet another devastating blow was just another stepping stone. We very quickly opened Studio Berkana and since October we’ve been working on getting our name out there, and have an awesome team. I never would have thought I’d ever be a tattooer as well as an esthetician. I can’t wait to see how much I grow in 2022. I am super excited to watch our whole team do great things in 2022. I can’t wait to see where we end up at the end of next year. Cheers to the ride! Thank you to all of you who have supported me and Tiffany and Amy and Alex and Paisley.
