It is with a heavy heart that I have to tell you my father Richard Cancelosi died peacefully in his sleep last night. He began Hospice Care at home less than two weeks ago. I saw him yesterday afternoon and he was very lucid when I was with him. I had just picked up his barber tools. I went in and he asked how I was doing. He smiled and was happy I got his tools.
I actually left the ballgame in the 4th inning because I had a premonition that he wasn’t going to make it through the night. My Mom, sister and Dad were asleep when I came over so I went home. He is no longer in pain. He will rest in peace as his suffering was unbearable most of the last year.

Rich is not doing well and Hospice care has started for him.
