Gua Sha Goodies and Continuing Education

I love teaching people how to use natural medicine to maintain and improve the quality of their health.

Present live and online NCBTMB certified Gua Sha classes backed by Acupuncture meridian theory and sell Gua Sha stones and tools through my Gua Sha Goodies shop. I incorporate my education in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture into all of my Gua Sha content and classes. I encourage implementing daily self-care practices to keep your body vital and strong.

It's been a minute since I have posted on Facebook. My life took a different trajectory and I am now living in the beautiful city of Prescott!

I retired and am now teaching a 4-part series on pain management at The Center on Rosser. This organization caters primarily to seniors and offers a variety of classes to encourage mobility, longevity and a higher quality of health.

Starting May 4, I will be teaching my 4-part pain management class on Monday at 9am. It is open to members and non-members. Each class provides tools to address the different facets of managing pain, increasing your mobility and lifestyle changes that can impact how you feel and move. It is $65 dollars for members and $80 for non-members and includes a therapy tool which I will teach participants to use on the different areas of their body to release tightness and pain, increase circulation, and the ability to move more freely. The protocol I use is based on my knowledge of Chinese Medicine, my years of working with clients experiencing acute and chronic pain and my own experience dealing with neck, back and joint pain, as well using it to recover from injuries.

If you have any loved ones living in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey or Chino, please share this information with them. They can register by phone at 928-778-8000 or in person. They are redoing their website and recommend contacting them by phone to register for classes. I've attached the flyer for the class.

Your hands are constantly moving and deserve some love! Working on your hands also calms your nervous system and relieves stress.

I have recently added some nice Gua Sha tool inventory to my store, including combs to work on the scalp and provide increased stimulation and acupressure tools in jade and stainless steel. There are some large stainless tools for deep tissue massage and some beautiful rose quartz and Sodalite stones as well.

Knowing exactly where to apply pressure and hit the facial nerves helps tremendously in lifting the different aspects of the face, and releasing pain from sinus pressure, headaches and jaw pain.

Bian stone has its origins in ancient China during the Cretaceous period when meteors crashed into the Earth as it emits a high ultrasonic frequency that invokes healing. Made of limestone and over 30 minerals it is a strong and beautiful stone that is widely used in the United States for facial massage, but can be used anywhere on the body. It's different edges provide friction and stimulate the tissue, fascia and muscles creating micro-circulation and increased movement of energy in the meridians. It helps align the Chakras and purge negative energy. It enhances mental focus and clarity and powers the body.

This Gua sha tool was very popular at my 2-day training this past weekend. It is available in my store by itself or in a set with a stainless steel Gua Sha tool. It is featured on the landing page with 2 of my other popular tools.
