I know we have posted this before, but as times continue to be uncertain and wacky, please remember, your service providers, including, Angelique and myself, are real humans too, with real bills to pay.

If your service provider has their own business and operates out of a retail space, they aren’t making 100% of what your service costs. And if your service provider is an employee of the salon you receive your services at, they are also not making 100% of what your service costs

The cost of running a business is so silly (bad silly) these days. But we love it and we love you and want to continue to be able to provide your services, even in uncertain times.

If financially receiving services is just not in the cards for you right now, you can always help your providers out by referring your friends, sharing, liking and commenting on Instagram/ Social Media posts, and Google/Yelp reviews. Kind words are just as valuable 💛

I’ve been seeing a lot of talk lately when it comes to pricing at salons or with beauty professionals and I have personally experienced clients expressing concerns over pricing of services. Especially since inevitable price increases will come and money being a little tighter.

But I am here to encourage and educate. Not shame.

The saying “You Get What You Pay For” is true, and I once heard someone say “There is a price for every customer, and every customer has a price”

I always joke that I tend to gravitate towards the most expensive things even without knowing how much it costs, and then I see the price and I’m like “yep, that makes sense” haha but I feel like that happens to everyone when choosing a beauty professional. You see their work, you see their aesthetically pleasing social media platforms and work spaces, you see their glowing reviews, and you instantly get FOMO. Then you call to get a quote or check their website for prices and are hit in the face with a price point you were not expecting!

But I’m here to tell you, that what you see, and what you want, is what your going to get. If you want that review worthy result from your beauty team you have to invest in them, just as they invested to bring you those amazing results.

So when choosing your beauty team just remember PET.

What are you getting?

You’re getting their EXPERIENCE / EXPERTISE
And you’re getting their TIME
