Hi beautiful, I hope you all had a nice eclipse day on Monday! Here are a few tips for nourishing your skin during the new moon. Our ancestors (in many cultures) followed the moon phases to plant, harvest, navigate, celebrate, and rest...etc. It's important for me to learn about it and keep up the traditions. For example, in China, the new moon symbolizes fresh starts, new beginnings, and the potential for growth and transformation. It's a good time to rest and take care of your skin.

Chang'e (pronounced Chang "uh?") 🇨🇳🌙🌕🧚‍♀️

Chang'e, the Chinese moon Goddess whose loveliness is celebrated in poems and novels. She is a beautiful elegant goddess who dances with the moon and clouds with a little bunny behind in her flowy long sleeves.

Do you know Chinese celebrate Winter Solstice? It's commonly regarded to be one of the most important Chinese festivals.

We follow Lunar calendar. Winter Solstice falls on the shortest day and the longest night of the year (either Dec 21 or 22). We get together with the family, worship our ancestors, and fest on an array of traditional delicacies. Sesame sweet dumpling (Tangyuan) is my favorite. I love to cook in ginger syrup 😋 Eating sweet dumplings during the winter solstice symbolizes a harmonious, cohesive and auspicious household.
