6 years of creating magic within these 4 walls…🖤 As I sit in my salon today, I can’t help but to be deeply grateful for this career, & this life. SBK has opened my world to so much opportunity, and so many lovely walks of life. Thank you for sitting with me, listening to me, valuing me, trusting me. Hair is so much more than just that. Hair is the crown we wear on our heads, that shows you so much about one’s self. To be a stylist is the truest form of love I could express to the world. I adore watching you fall in love with yourself, hearing your stories, letting you decompress, & put your weight on me.

I am so so thankful for this business & how you guys continue to show up for me(-‘: Despite my lack of presence here on this page, my books have been filled & I haven’t had any shortage of hair to get my hands in

Last week we celebrated 5 years of Styled by Katelynn🖤 Wow. Truly my biggest accomplishment.

This lil business of mine has survived through me being a first year stylist on my own, a worldwide pandemic, the aftermath of said pandemic, me becoming a wife, almost 2 presidential elections now, exploring new endeavors through this industry, waaay too much inflation, starting a second business, & all things in between. To say it hasn’t been easy is an understatement, but I am so grateful everyday for this business of mine, as it has brought me all of you(-‘:
Thank you for the laughs, the tears, the bleach burns, the color stains, the love, the trust, the friendships, and all you have given me these past 5 years. Younger me would be in tears knowing this is my job🥹

To celebrate, my hubby and I got to explore Salem last week (you guys know me, I love the spooky).. it was amazing & everything I wanted(-: What prompted us to be up north though was one of my most favorite people got married, and I had the honor of doing the hair & florals for the wholeee thing🥹 I love how you guys want me a part of your big day(-‘: and man was she the most beautiful bride😭

Breaking through black box dye can be quite a challenge, but man does it make for the most beautiful chocolate browns🤤🍫

With all the warm toned blondes/brunettes lately, it was refreshing getting to do a full blonding with some ash tones!!🥹🖤🤩

My lil home away from home😌 Say hiiii to the newest addition to my space(-: Majority of these frames and pieces were found second hand while out antique/thrift shopping. The artwork I have collected over the past couple of years, or a few pieces (one of them being the eyeball painting, and another one being the ghost tapestry) are original artworks of mine🖤 I think the gallery wall adds so much character to my salon suite and I am just so in luvvvv

I’m biased and luuvvv me some long hair, but this color + cut has me feeling some type of wayyy😮‍💨
