A little over 2.5 years ago Andreś and I made a major life decision as to the way we wanted to move forward living our lives. We decided we wanted to leave behind the hustle and bustle and the need for quantity over quality of life. We set a goal, personal and financial, to retire early and live our best lives possible so we could one day die with memories, not dreams!
Through all of our travels, and our love for the country and lifestyle, we decided to move to 🇪🇸 SPAIN! That goal has come to fruition and we will officially be Spainish🕺🏽💃🏽Expats March 10th!
I've dreaded and been excited to send this message for quite some time. I have used the word bittersweet in its truest form more over the past couple weeks than ever in my life. I take pride and solace knowing that I have been counted on for way more than just hair over the years and simply hate disappointing everyone.
Every single girlfriend I have, independent of my best friend, are ones that I've made in my salon! My decision to keep this private over the past couple of years has purely been a business decision and not for a second, personal towards anyone. Please know that. I have SO many special relationships with so many extraordinary people!
I have been pleasantly overwhelmed with the outpour of sincere, genuine well wishes, insanely kind messages, and remarks as to how influential I have been in everyone's lives. I cannot begin to express how leaving with these sentiments mean the world to me. My little cup is humbled and runneth over!
We will never forget the friends and family who have genuinely supported us more than I ever expected along our journey to get here. Especially my brother Leonardo Baker and my second Mom, Rhonda Gayle for their relentless ears and giving hearts.💜
I started this salon solely by myself and in the past 7 years have accumulated over 1,200 clients! Wow! 😯 I have literally worked myself down to the bone but honestly would not have it any other way. I went to college, and had a great career in the corporate world for 15+ years but will always be more proud of my accomplishments as an entrepreneur and hairstylist. It is true what they say, do what you love, and what you are passionate about and you will never work a day in your life!
I hope you all will follow along our new adventure! My Instagram will change tomorrow from StudioIndulgeSalon to 🌍GrundysGoneGlobal (keeping same page/same followers) and I will no longer be posting on the Studio Indulge Salon business page.
