Dear Clients, Friends and Family,

As you may have already heard, the Governor announced yesterday that hair salons are not part of the first phase of businesses that will begin reopening at the beginning of May. At the soonest, mid-May is the estimated time of reopening for salons. That being said, later today, I will be contacting those of you who are currently on the books to move your appointment to a date after the proposed reopening dates. I have blocked out the online booking through June so that I can manually move these appointments. Once I’m able to reopen, I will be working extended hours as well as Mondays to accommodate as many of you as I can/as soon as I can.

Some of you have reached out during the shutdown asking how you could help. Here are some ways:

1. Color Kits – for those that need a base color or root re-touch, I can deliver your formula (pre measured) with gloves and an applicator brush. Contactless delivery is possible (using PayPal or Zelle). I’m asking $40 for these kits.

2. Gift Certificates – If you are in a position to purchase gift certificates or wish to pre-pay for your next service, I can take these payments over the phone and have certificates sent to you or just keep them on file for you.

3. Retail Purchase – I have the ability to order and deliver any of the products, tools, fragrances or accessories I normally carry. I can get most items within 48 hours.

4. PPE and Supplies – When we do get to re-open, I am certain there will be strict guidelines in place to make certain it is being done the safest way possible. So, if you or someone you know has access to masks, disinfectants (sprays and wipes), face shields, hand sanitizer or any other supplies that would help, please let me know.

5. Prayers – I’m asking all of you that are comfortable, please pray for the safety of all that are reopening soon. If things continue to go well, we will have a much better chance at safely reopening our salons. Pray for those that are in government to have the wisdom they need to make the best decisions for ALL of us. Pray for those that are working on the front lines and in the laboratories around the world trying to get ahead of the pandemic and bring it to a quick end. Finally, pray for me and all of the other small businesses that are doing their best to navigate these difficult times.
