What is an oxymel? 🫙🍯🌿 ⁣

Oxymel comes from the Greek word oxymeli which translates to “acid and honey”. Oxymel’s are herbal extractions of supportive herbs, vinegar, and raw honey. They can be made with white vinegar or apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar is most commonly used because of its myriad of health benefits which makes it an ideal menstruum for oxymels. They are a staple for cold and flu season and general immune and gut health. They can be taken daily or every 2-3 hours during an active cold/flu. ⁣
