Our Story

Koru Beauty and Bridal Co is a full service beauty company providing stunning bridal moments, and on trend balayage and blonding services. Owner and artist Alissa Westcott has been a hair and makeup artist in South Florida for 5 years, and she has always had a passion for beauty. She can remember at a very young age cutting her dolls hair and always wanting to play with makeup. Alissa graduated from the Aveda Institute in South Florida; Specializing in balayage and customized coloring techniques. She excels in creating a complete look for her clients with fabulous color and cuts. Along with being Aveda trained she has continued education with Redken, Pureology, and Hairtalk tape-in/keratin Bond hair extensions to name a few. Alissa believes in using quality products and taking into account her clients hair integrity to ensure not just beautiful color, but also, beautiful hair. She is talented in braiding and up-styling for every occasion; For all your bridal needs a luxury experience is provided using quality dressing products, clip in extensions, and airbrush makeup. Out of the salon, you can find Alissa enjoying a happy hour with friends, spending time at a dog park with her pup, or getting in a good workout at the gym. Living a happy, passionate and balanced lifestyle is very important to her and she incorporates this into both her work and personal life.
