Amazing Changes Hair Studio/ SPA is a full service salon. ......There is a 48 hr cancellation if the client cancel the day of there is a 50% charge of the service or with out the 48 hr notice..
I just got a phone call just a minute ago about somebody asking me to use store bout colored on their hair because it's a free ammonia I tried to give the person some advice that store bout hair color and they told me they bought it at Walmart and it's Clairol. Free ammonia and I told them that normal store bout hair color right off the shelf is normally not free ammonia but I said I probably would have to charge them a little bit more because it's totally separate color line then professional lines, don't know a thing about it. and they kind of thought with me telling me that it's a simple process you just take it out of the box and you slap it on their hair wow you just don't slap it on somebody's hair that's like taking a crayon and putting a line right over a coloring box you don't slap it on sorry so I just told her I'm sorry I would have to charge you just a little bit more than my going rate if I'm going to use a store bout color that I don't know a thing about and I'm more than happy to do the haircut and she just said but I want you to do my color with my color and I said that's fine I just don't think that I feel safe or good about a store bought in color to be charging you my going rate is fair so anywho please don't ask me to use a Walmart store-bought color that's unprofessional and asking me to charge you my going right that's unfair..
To any up-and-coming appointments or any future appointments for the salon I am letting you know this as of now this is one of the many rules that I have for the salon and this is the most important rule that I have for the salon because we have an up and standing business and we care about our customers as well as we care about the time frame for our customers we love supporting walking customers we love supporting new customers but however this is a big issue in not that it's an issue but it has become an issue when we take on new clients. And we tell them that this is a rule for the salon and we ask for 48 hours for you to contact us and whether you're sick you need to cancel or whatever it may be we ask that you give us 48 hours notice so in that case we if we get it another client that wants to fill your spot say you had a 10:30 appointment or 11:00 just picking a time frame on April 6th or April 10th picking say that client calls give the stylist 24 hours and they send them a message through their square system letting them know that they're canceling using technology when the phone number is placard all over the phone in the front of their building they have a business card that has the phone number on it they could call or text the phone number and the square system is a text by number not to the business number a text by number it's a 1and it does say amazing changes Hair Studio you have this appointment at blah blah blah and it tells you what dates you have it on but the client gives you 24 hours instead of 48 and then but these days salons do 48 hours so they can have that time frame to rebook another client the 24 hours it's really hard to rebook another client and fill that fill that spot so I as a salon owner have it posted on my Facebook for the 48-hour roll I have it posted on my website for the 48 hour rule and I also have as I advise all my clients that there is a 50% charge if you do not give me the 48 hours unless you move the appointment so occasionally this happens the client does not move the appointment so therefore I have to enforce the fact that if they don't move it then they paid the 50% of the service. So I want to advise everyone here. As of today this rule is being enforced at my salon for everyone that walks through the door whether you're new or your existing if you do not give your stylist or anybody that works inside amazing Changes Hair Studio and Spa 48 hours notice for cancellations of any type and you can look this up it is on my Facebook and it is on my website thise douse apply. You well pay 50 % of your service fee and especially for day cancellations. We do not accept 24 hour cancellations that does not work for our business we are too busy for that.. we are more than happy to suggest to move your appointment out because we don't like charging you. But however we would like for you as the client to move your appointment out instead of you as the client telling us that you will call us back later that is unacceptable that's where the 50% comes in to the rules of you will pay it. Cuz you just made the loss of service apply. I'm sorry and I hope you understand this rule. And if it makes you feel like you're unwelcome well I suggest you call other salons and see if they have this because there's at least five salons in Port Angeles that I know that has this rule.
