I just wanna say real quick, if Kim K can’t have perfect platinum in a day, you probably can’t either 😇
This was a 14 hour job, and he did incredible with what he was given. This is a difficult, long and expensive process. All I’m saying is lower your expectations of your hairstylist. I’m pretty sure she had tons of breakage hence why she didn’t have the cute Marilyn Monroe hairstyle curled. They had to slick it back in a bun & the toner didn’t grab in most of her hair and stayed yellow because it’s super porous like a sponge.

Beautiful prom makeup for this doll ✨ wanted to give her a natural but glam look for tonight & she definitely will be the star tonight! 🤌🏼

Just a little reminder of what real makeup looks like
without retouch and filters.

Yes it creases, yes it moves. Because that's what
makeup does. People have pores, they sweat, they talk,they smile and they laugh. Skin lives. Makeup will heatup and move.

No it does not cover everything or make imperfections disappear like magic.

There will always be fine lines wrinkles, eye bags, scars, pimples.

Yes there's a limit to what you can do.
I know the pressure is hard with social medias.

I know clients have such high expectations nowadays because they are bombarded with perfect images that aren't realistic.

This is my annual post to remind you that you are a
good makeup artist.

I had to talk to myself more than a few times because I was comparing my work to what people posted and I didn't understand why I could never get it to look so
perfect.

We absolutely have to stop doing that. First it's not reality. 2nd this is the best way to kill our confidence and our creativity.

Stop comparing yourself to unrealistic goals and spend that time working on your craft.

We're all doing our best and our best is good enough.
