She had an existing balayage that I had done a few months ago, but with the season change decided she wanted “the darkest blue you can make it”. I’m pretty obsessed with how this turned out. 🤩

It’s my 2 year anniversary of using New Wash! 🎉💗

As you can see in this photo, two years ago my hair was a thirsty B. It was over processed (bleaching, a Brazilian Blowout) and heavily chemically treated (hair dye!)!which left it dry, crispy, limp and lifeless. If I ever wanted to wear my curls again, I would have had to shave my head.

But then I remembered seeing post about New Wash and since I love and respect her work I gave it a try.

In theory, when I took this picture my hair wasn’t supposed to have any curve to it. You can tell by the rest of my hair that it’s just fried. To see a lil wave after my third time using New Wash was a dream come true. ✨

This appointment was truly so special; I admire and have been a big fan for awhile of Sonya’s work as a person who really appreciates Jewish food and loves to share it with others.

For her cut, I evened out the length and then added tons of layers for volume and shape. I washed with New Wash Rich, and styled with the Curl Twins from - the Enhancing Cream and Defining Gel✨
