I am going to leave you with my final post by saying this-

“Don’t Stop…”

If you have a DREAM, something that compels you, something that tugs on your heart and keeps your mind going, “DON’T STOP” till you see it through!

One of the best feelings in life is watching your DREAMS come true!

You are far more powerful and able than you believe yourself to be.

When you start putting your focus toward a dream, you will find extra money, support and energy you didn’t know you had available.

Even if you are only able to give your dream just a little of your time or only able to hold it in your mind- DON’T let it go.

Keep watering the seeds of your dreams, because one day- they will grow!

This IS YOUR LIFE- it’s happening right now and every day is an opportunity to begin taking the steps to make your dreams real!

DON’T STOP believing in what you desire and dream of because, what you wish to create may be what others need to make their dreams- real 🌺

It’s not “JUST” Hair…

Not even close. How many times have I heard, “oh it’s JUST hair…it will grow back”?? And yet- there’s absolutely NOT ONE person in 23 years of being in the salon business that I’ve met who didn’t care even a little bit about their hair.

From the 3 year old little girls who got their first blow out to the 95 year old women who got their last, to the men working to save their last bit of tufts or the teens chopping off the locks their parents made them grow out, to the people on chemo with only a few strands left, or the ones who can barely afford to maintain their styles and don’t forget - the ladies who come in for a weekly shampoo and curl set - ALL deeply care about their hair. And, definitely don’t say, “it’s JUST hair”, to the ones who are growing their hair out after a god-awful haircut!

Hair is an identity; it’s self expression at it’s essence. Each color, length, texture and style has it’s own associations. Culture has given a persona to the blondes, pinks, reds, brunettes and grays. There’s NO color we don’t subconsciously make an assessment on, no style that doesn’t evoke emotion. I’ve made hundreds of thousands of dollars knowing that a specific shape and hair tone mean SO much more “than JUST hair.”

It’s not “JUST hair”. It’s been a lifestyle for me. My entire adult life was provided for by this incredible keratin protein material that grows on average 1/2 an inch a month. This peculiar fiber  { with a mind of it’s own },  has allowed me the opportunity to meet hundreds, if not thousands of people who would at the very least, connect with me for an hour or possibly up to 23 years. One haircut has opened infinite doors, changing every part of my life with a good handful of people. Some clients and even coworkers would not only leave a positive imprint but a lasting friendship. Some would speak so much wisdom into my life I would be changed forever, even just during a bang trim….
