Hi, I realize that I just got back into town and only saw a small handful of you this week. So I want to start off by saying I’m so sorry for the impact to those of you whose appointments have been cancelled (or impacted this last week. I appreciate your understanding, support and gentleness.

While I don’t LOVE the idea of sharing these personal pieces of my life with the internet, I think it’s important that I provide some clarity given the impact. Some may have seen my stories as to why I’ve been out so much the past month, but for those of you that have not, here’s why.

My dad was given a 3 month prognosis in early January and is declining pretty rapidly. The past six months have been a rollercoaster, to say the least. But his care, comfort and safety are needing support, and I could never let those things go to the wayside or be abandoned (nor has it been by myself or my aunts). I’m sure many of you here may relate, but family units are… nuanced. Navigating that alongside the current medical crisis is another reason I’ve been unable to be completely present. So once again, thanks to everyone who’s been patient with my delayed, short, or even sometimes nonexistent responses. I love my job and I love all of my clients, and at the end of the day, it’s just nails. Yes, it’s my livelihood, but nails can grow back, time cannot.

That leads me to proper expectations. I’m not sure of my exact return date yet. So for those of you that were impacted by this, whether it was two weeks ago or this week, I would recommend reaching out to one of the amazing babes inside in the meantime. This means online booking is currently turned off until I know my return date. I will be sharing to my stories with updates as things move along. If you wish to wait, please respond to the phone number your confirmation texts come from that you would like to be notified of availability once it reopens and we’ll be sure to get that done.

Thanks to everyone for your patience, once again. We’ll be back in the routine saddle at some point, but for now, just know how much I appreciate you now and the past however long you’ve been in my chair. ❤️
