Can you bend your joints farther than most people? 🤸

You might have joint hypermobility. While being flexible isn't necessarily a problem, excessive joint movement can sometimes be associated with pain, instability, or other symptoms.

The goal isn't always to become less flexible. Building strength, improving control, and learning how to manage your range of motion can be important for supporting hypermobile joints.

Check out this infographic to learn more about hypermobility and what it means for your joints. https://chiroup.short.gy/EzBhEo

Doing all your shoulder exercises but still not getting relief? 🤔

Think swapping regular soda for diet soda is better for your health? 🥤

New research suggests it may not be that simple. Frequent consumption of zero-sugar beverages was associated with a higher risk of type 2 diabetes.

What you drink affects overall inflammation, daily energy, and how well your muscles and joints recover from daily stress.

Better choices for daily hydration:

✔️ Water infused with fresh lemon, cucumber, or berries
✔️ Unsweetened sparkling water for natural fizz
✔️ Herbal teas served hot or iced

Is your back pain more than just a sore muscle or stiff joint?

Research shows that long-lasting pain can actually change how your brain processes pain signals. 🧠

That’s why effective care may need to address both your body and your nervous system through movement, education, and hands-on care.

Does your neck hurt? The secret to relief might be your shoulder posture. 👀

A new study found a strong link between neck pain and how your shoulder blades sit on your back.

When the shoulder blades tilt downward, your head shifts forward. Over time, this can fatigue your muscles and lead to irritation of the muscles and joints.

So not only is it vital to assess the neck, but also the surrounding areas, which may be contributing to your pain!

Lower back pain isn’t always just a muscle or disc problem.

Research found that people with low back pain tend to have thicker and stiffer fascia, the connective tissue surrounding the back.

When this connective tissue becomes stiff and thick, it restricts your spine and keeps pain signals firing.
