CHOPPY LOB!
Long enough to put up, short enough to look and feel like a hairstyle. She wears it straight and curly and they both work. Layers long enough to avoid the Florence Henderson Flip and short enough to avoid a triangle. Layers are all about balance. They should fall together and enhance bone structure. If you're nervous to cut your hair, go for collarbone. That's a great starting length as it feels shorter but keeps you in your comfort zone.

You don't need a zillion products to have a good hair day!
Do you have a closet full of products that you never use? Honestly, aside from shampoo and conditioner, you only need 1-3 styling products MAX to get the hair you want everyday. You don't even have to use them all everyday. When they are right for your hair and you use them correctly, your routine becomes very easy.
What are your issues? What do you want to achieve?

Curtain Bangs feel like winter don't they? A little extra coverage for that warm, mysterious vibe. Longer bangs can emphasize features you love like cheekbones and lips or hide what you don't, like crow's feet. Sometimes a little extra goes a long way.

Curls without frizz. Feels like a dream but it can happen with the right product. Thick, coarse hair needs more moisture and more control. A gel, cream or pomade with a higher level of hold are good for that texture. Thin, fine hair needs a texture spray or a light gel. Do you need all of them? Nope. Can you cocktail them together to create your perfect texture? Yep. Start slowly with one product. Add another as you build confidence. Dont rush it.
My favorite products for curly hair are from Hairstory and Innersence. Check out my website for details. Lyndarcy.com/shop-1

A sweet little bob is the lift you need!
Hair is often a comfort or a habit. Ive had long hair forever, Id look weird with shorter hair. I don't look good with bangs. I need it to be easy, so no layers.
These are all lies we tell ourselves to stay in our comfort zone. I always ask clients to think about their dream hair, realistic or not. Then, we talk about their real life routines. Once we have those two things, creating a fresh new look that is manageable everyday is easy. There is a lot of fun to be had outside of your comfort zone. Lets explore.

Summer lightening. When I put the lightening below the top layer, it looks natural. It also grows out without the need to touch up the roots. Holla for ease! ☀️

A little before/after for you. This had been growing out for a long time so we simply refreshed the blonde and added a bit of warmth. Perfect spring hair vibes!

A little before/after for you. This was a huge appointment for both of us. She had damage and heavy buildup on her hair. Strands were breaking and she had lost control of the color. We spent several hours removing things like hard water and product buildup, repairing and strengthening the hair that was weak and adding moisture back in to the hair. That was all before we started to color! We then covered her grey, evened out the color and add a bit of brightness. We will continue with these steps and work on the color slowly. She started a home care routine that will support everything we did at the salon. Repair treatments and home care can't exist without each other. Her hair will get better and better.

A little before/after for you. We opted for 2 appointments instead of one painfully long one to accomplish this. She did not want to wait as her roots grew out over 2 years. We began by removing the old color, then we lightened as much as we could while maintaining the integrity of the hair. Finally we toned the hair to different shades of grey to match her natural patterns. I love this kind of appointment! She loved when it was over :)

Creamy, bright and rather silky. A hair oil can really add a beautiful polish on a light blonde. Hairstory Hair Oil is hands down my favorite. It is so light, it disappears into your hair and your hands. No need to wash your hands after using it as all that's left is softness.

A little before/after for you. This gal looks a lot like me! On the left, clean, blown dry hair. I didnt use any tools or product to dry it. Just added air. The results are huge and fuzzy. On the right, proof that a little product, a brush and some well directed heat can work miracles! I used Hair Balm and Hair Oil by Hairstory to protect the hair from heat and create softness and shine. Then I sectioned the hair and used a large barrel curling iron to add wave.
I offer a Hairstyling appointment at my salon. Come in with clean hair and I'll teach you how to style it! You'll leave with 2 easily managed styles that fit into your real, daily life. Keep your goals in line with your time and effort realities, and your hair can look good every day.

Miss T's hair is always fun. She usually lets me leave her playful little chunk of grey when we color. We added dark around the hairline and took everything else into a cool blonde. The result is super funky, interesting and unique!
If you have a chunk of hair that does its own thing, sometimes its fun to enhance it! Rock what you got!
