Best meet to date! Please read!

I:

Hit personal bests.

Pushed hard.

Stayed committed.

And got to do the damn thing with others I WORK with or GO to the gym I manage.

Got To be around others also pushing themself.

Honed my own setup, mindset, and physical body.

Did this alongside others; also committed to themself.

Powerlifting really has taught me that strength is built brick by brick.

The 4x weekly mobility, sleeping by midnight, weekly bath soaks, massages, and HOURS of training.

Resilance and determination to be my best is MY responsibility.

Some don't understand why we do this. That's ok.

Im fu***ng crazy, ambitious, and determined.

My big goal is to lift at the ARNOLD. Secondary goal is to hit a STATE record as master class 1 and show MYSELF that I am a BEAST. Oh wait, I ALREADY AM. 💅

Saturday brought my BEST squat on the platform. To say I'm proud is an understatement.

Depth, NAILED IT. 👏 Not a single red light from any judge. I worked for this and it shows!

242.5lbs (110 kilos) is a 38.6lb total increase from my BEST prior meet and is less than 5 lbs away from my gym pr.

I totally had 314lb deadlift, but I really feel like there was residual baby powder on the bar and lost grip. Now we know...and now we do better!

This was leaps and bounds a better experience than regionals, but in part due to so many friends being there.

I plan on competing 2 more times between now and the end of 2027. 2027 will be FIRE, and I will be starting the Masters 1(age 40-49) class STRONG. 💪
