We had students from Canyon Crest Academy Japanese National Honor Society come and do calligraphy with our residents! Our residents had so much fun 🖋️💙

For New Year’s, we did origami inspired by Japanese ema. They’re wooden plaques traditionally hung at shrines and temples where people write their wishes. We decorated ours with a sunrise and pine tree, both popular symbols of the New Year 🌅🌲
