It has never been “just hair” for me. There’s a connection between the inward heart and the outward hair and it is something truly special few will understand. It’s expressive, emotional and oddly healing. We have all been there; feeling down or off and then a good hair day or fresh new look changes that. We walk a little more confidently into the room, hold our chin a little higher, feel braver when tackling a tough thing. It’s connected. I got this text from a client today and it reminded me that why I do what I do is and has always been for far more than a paycheck. Cheers to the hairdressers, the secret keepers, the safe spaces, the healers. And cheers to the clients for graciously trusting us and allowing us to be a part of their story. I’m forever grateful ❤️
