What fuels you? When I first started as a stylist, I really did not have a focus for why I wanted do the hairs.

Now that I have gotten (a lot) older, and have had some great perspective shifts, I am so passionate about helping my gorgeous guests find their personal beauty. That is going to look a little different for everyone.

The ultimate goal is a marriage between a look that you love to see reflected back at you and the amount of your life you want to commit to that.

That has become the fuel for my purpose and vision each step of the way!

What makes a great stylist?

I think it is like trying to make a killer cocktail. Depending on the bartender you may get something different in the mix each time, but for me it's:

⭐ 1 part obsession with continued education
⭐ 1 part killer and unmatched guest experience with plenty of posh amenities
⭐ 2 parts genuine care and love of clients
⭐ sprinkled with tons of obscure sci-fi and fandom knowledge topped with a twist of laughter

Shaken, not stirred, obviously.

What if?

How often have you said that? Me- countless.

Well, what if you weren't so hard on yourself? What if you gave yourself the same kind of love that you give everyone else? What if you appreciated your past but decided to find a home in the present.

Today let's grasp the power of new beginnings and breath in the possibilities of what can happen when you begin to believe in yourself.

So we all know I am a stylist, but do you actually know how I got here?

My grandpa insisted it was destiny as I was ceaselessly trying to style his hair as a little girl.

However, I did take the long road to get here. I tried on a few things for size and nothing was quite the right fit, I studied accounting, then graphic design.

I passed the cosmetology school every day on my way home and one day just decided to stop in. I signed up that day and here we are. I am so glad to have found a place that gives me the opportunity to be creative.

The biggest surprise is that doing the hair has become a vehicle for my true passion and that is empowering people to feel great about the way they look and walk into their lives with confidence.
