Like so many of you, we are holding heavy hearts after the tragic shooting at Brown. Events like this ripple far beyond a single place or moment—they touch our sense of safety, our nervous systems, and our shared humanity.

We want to acknowledge the grief, fear, anger, confusion, and sorrow that may be surfacing. There is no single “right” way to feel after something like this. Please know that whatever you are carrying today is valid.

In moments of collective trauma, it matters that we pause and remember who we are to one another. We are neighbors. We are a community that cares deeply. We are allowed to slow down, to check in, to offer softness where the world has been harsh.

Our space exists for grounding, for breath, for presence, and for reconnection with your body when the mind feels overwhelmed. If you find yourself needing quiet, gentleness, or simply a place where you don’t have to explain how you’re feeling, you are welcome here.

We hold those who were harmed, their loved ones, and everyone affected in our thoughts. We also hold gratitude for the first responders, caregivers, and helpers who step forward in moments like these.
