Friendly SPF Reminder ☀️
A quick reminder to wear your SPF today.
UV exposure happens every day, even when it’s cloudy, overcast, or you’re spending most of your time indoors near windows.
Daily SPF helps protect against:
• Hyperpigmentation
• Premature aging
• Collagen breakdown
• Sun damage
Healthy skin isn’t built with one product.
It’s built through consistent daily habits.
Today’s habit: Apply your SPF.

Acne Myth vs Fact 🍫
MYTH: Chocolate causes acne.
FACT: Chocolate itself has not been proven to directly cause acne.
Acne is influenced by many factors including:
• Hormones
• Genetics
• Inflammation
• Stress
• Diet patterns
• Skincare habits
For some individuals, certain foods may contribute to breakouts, but blaming every breakout on chocolate oversimplifies a much more complex condition.
And interestingly, ingredients derived from cocoa are used in some skincare formulations for their antioxidant benefits. So chocolate may not be the villain you’ve been told it is.
The goal isn’t to fear food.
The goal is understanding what YOUR skin needs.
Have you ever been told chocolate causes acne?

What if healthy skin isn’t supposed to be perfect?
Healthy skin has pores.
Healthy skin has texture.
Healthy skin isn’t perfectly smooth.
Healthy skin doesn’t look like a filter.
Social media has created unrealistic expectations of what skin should look like. But real skin has natural variation, texture, and imperfections.
As an esthetician, my goal isn’t to help you chase perfection.
My goal is to help you build stronger, healthier, more resilient skin through consistency, education, and the right skincare strategy.
Stop comparing your skin to filters.
Compare your skin to where it was yesterday.
✨ Healthy skin > perfect skin.
What started as teenage acne followed me well into adulthood.
For years, I struggled with painful breakouts, dark spots, and the frustration of feeling like nothing was working.
I used makeup to cover it up and tried countless products hoping for a different result.
What finally changed my skin wasn't chasing trends or buying every new product that promised clear skin.
It was consistency, patience, and following a structured skincare routine designed for my skin's needs.
Today, I'm grateful to say I no longer struggle with those same concerns. As a Licensed Esthetician, my goal is to help others navigate their own skin journey with professional guidance, education, and realistic expectations.
Healthy skin is possible, and you don't have to figure it out alone.
I'd love to help you.

The best skincare results aren’t built overnight.
They’re built through consistency, patience, and investing in the health of your skin every day.
Healthy skin isn’t about perfection.
It’s about creating habits that support your skin long-term.
Every cleanser.
Every SPF application.
Every night routine.
Those small choices add up.
That’s what I call a skin•vestment.

What causes acne?
Acne is rarely caused by just one thing.
Breakouts can be influenced by hormones, excess oil production, dead skin cell buildup, acne-causing bacteria, genetics, stress, and lifestyle factors. That’s why what works for one person may not work for another.
Understanding the root cause of your acne is the first step toward creating a skincare plan that supports long-term skin health.
Healthy skin starts with understanding your skin.

Understanding what acne is, what contributes to breakouts, and what can help is the first step toward healthier skin.
Healthy skin is not about perfection. It’s about consistency, patience, and the right support.
