Constantly trying to be perfect is an ideology that was instilled in many of us. We are exposed to standards and expectation that begin to chip away at our self-esteem, worth, and individuality. I’m sure we can all go back to the specific point where all we wanted was to fit in and be accepted. So much so we we’re willing to change our hair, style, or even body. Just thought I’d start off with a reminder that you are the only person that has what it takes to be you, it’s okay to exist, occupy space, and be yourself. At the end of the day, you’ll feel much better saying you chose yourself than pretending to be someone else.
