MAJOR COLOR CORRECTION SUCCESS!! This amazing client has long hair and a normal amount of it. For this correction I chose to go with a foilayage. From start to finish the procedure took 7 hours. I charged her $250. Some people may say I charged her too little or too much. What I charge doesnt make me more or less qualified than other stylist that charge more or less than me, doesnt make me brighter, nor does it make me more or less knowledgeable than them either. This blonde journey began 8 months ago! We started with black and red box die hair color in other words major color correction😐 It took 4 appointments but she's finally a blondie🙌 Patience is definitely needed in a process from black to blonde. Also keep in mind that blonde is high maintenance and "retouches" are not cheaper$. So please make sure to use salon quality hair products at home! I feel that retouches should be more even though I dont charge more for them but I do charge the same as initial bayalage. For some reason some ladies expect to pay less for "retouches". Scenarios vary but when starting with a clean canvas or a canvas that has no previous bleaching a bonder isnt necessary but for "balayage retouches" the bonder is a must and let me tell you bonders are not cheap but well worth every penny! So please ladies let's be realistic and not come into the salon with black/dark brown colored hair and expect to walk out blonde on your first session! For the record I " " retouches because we're not just retouching the roots we actually run color thru your entire head again😉 Thanks for your "patience" 😂 in your blonde journey!!😘
